By "toolset" do you mean ME3Explorer? If so then it is version 2.0.0.0Ģ. The Texplorer wiki article should be helpful. If a DDS, is the matching hash in the file name?Īddressing those questions would be a good start. If a TPF, does the hash match the one for that texture in the Texplorer tree?Ĩ. Is the file you're trying to load into TPF Tools a TPF? A MOD file? A raw DDS?ħ. If not, are ANY textures for those DLC present in the file tree?Ħ. Have you opened Texplorer and done a search for the textures you are looking for?ĥ. Which version of the toolset are you using?Ģ. If it doesn't launch, that's b/c all ME3 DLC are unpacked and no extraction is necessary.Īs for why TPF Tools isn't locating the textures in your tree.ġ. And, it will only occur if it locates an ME3 DLC that isn't unpacked (which the wiki also explains). DLC unpacking is a process initiated by the toolset upon *first launch* when using rev738+. The reason why article doesn't point you to a "DLC Extractor" is because there isn't one. If you read the wiki article, it explicitly tells you that *ME3* DLC need to be unpacked. If anyone can tell me how to open the DLC Extractor so I can unpack my DLC and recreate my tree thus being able to edit DLC textures, I will appreciate it. So as I've looked through on this page, I need to open the DLC Extractor and unpack the DLC, thing is though, I have no clue where the DLC Extractor is, and the instructions don't even tell you where to locate it.

Only extracted DLC can be scanned by Texplorer." as the other 3 checked out to not be the problem. So obviously as you can expect I looked it up, I found my issue from the ME3Explorer wikia at this link with the problem being "The texture is for a BioWare DLC you have, but have not extracted. If it needs to be moved then please do so.Īnyways at the problem at hand, I am trying to edit textures of Zaeeed and Kasumi, however when I go to add the files in TPF/DDS it gives me the "NOT FOUND IN TREE" error, this was confusing to me seeing as I have the DLC's and I made sure to tick them when I create the Mass Effect 2 tree. Hi, before starting off with my topic I would like to say if I posted this thread in the wrong location then I apologize as I had no clue where to post it seeing as I am new to the forums.
